Pricing

Fixed price per job. Tap swap: £120-180 including a mid-range replacement tap. Toilet fill-valve swap: £120 including valve. Waste-trap swap: £80-120. Outside-tap install: £180-260 including valve, tap and drain-down. All include isolation valves added where not already present.

What I don't do

• Boiler work - Gas Safe registered engineer only. That includes any pipework touching the boiler or the gas supply.
• Mains water re-routing - a plumber's job, not a handyman's.
• Under-floor heating - the specialists' book.
• Full bathroom fit-outs - a bathroom-fitter's job with a proper multi-day schedule.

Old cottage waste runs. Some of the Wingham High Street cottages have original lead or clay waste sections behind kitchen sinks. If a waste-trap replacement reveals lead or damaged clay upstream, that is a plumber-scope job - I stop, flag and hand over.
